Privacy Policy
Drivers Copilot is an independent decision-support app for licensed adult drivers. The app works locally and does not have Internet permission.
On-device offer processing
When monitoring is enabled, Drivers Copilot reads offer and reservation information visible in the Uber Driver app, including fare, service type, passenger rating, time, distance, schedule, and visible pickup or drop-off text. It uses that information on your device to estimate costs, profit, earnings per mile, earnings per hour, and offer guidance.
If Android's visible text is incomplete, Drivers Copilot may take a temporary screenshot in memory and use an embedded offline text-recognition model. The screenshot is discarded after processing. It is not written to a file, shared, or uploaded.
Information stored locally
Drivers Copilot stores settings, cost assumptions, goals, consent records, feedback, calculations, and a limited offer and reservation history in its private app storage. Saved history excludes pickup and drop-off addresses. A small bounded runtime log may record app events without raw offer text, addresses, screenshots, notification text, account data, or device manufacturer and model.
Accessibility, overlay, notifications, and flashlight
Accessibility is restricted to the Uber Driver package and is used only after a prominent disclosure and your affirmative consent. Display-over-other-apps permission shows the decision card above Uber. Notification access processes Uber Driver notifications locally to wake analysis faster and identify genuinely new reservations. Drivers Copilot does not accept or decline offers and does not control Uber.
If you enable the optional reservation flash and grant Camera permission, Drivers Copilot uses the camera hardware only to blink the rear flashlight three times. It does not take photographs or record video.
No cloud collection or sharing
This build has no Internet permission, account system, analytics, advertising SDK, Firebase Authentication, Firebase Crashlytics, automatic crash or latency upload, diagnostic sharing, data export or import, or Android cloud backup. Drivers Copilot does not send app data to Saz3 Labs or another cloud service and does not sell personal information.
Retention and deletion
Local information remains until it ages out of limited history, you press Delete all local data, you clear the app through Android settings, or you uninstall the app. Delete all local data removes Drivers Copilot's private settings, goals, feedback, history, consent records, and runtime files. Android permissions remain separately manageable in Android settings. Drivers Copilot has no user accounts or server-side account data.
Security, children, and changes
We minimize stored information and keep it in private local app storage. No device or storage method is completely secure, so keep your phone protected. Drivers Copilot is intended for licensed adult drivers and is not directed to anyone under 18. Material policy changes may require renewed in-app acknowledgement.
Educational use and risk
Drivers Copilot is an educational and informational decision-support tool. Its calculations and guidance may be incomplete, delayed, or wrong and are not financial, tax, legal, employment, platform-account, or safety advice. You are responsible for your driving, account, and business decisions and use the app at your own risk. The Terms of Use contain the full warranty disclaimer and limits concerning financial loss, Uber or other platform-account loss, and other losses.
